All Hallow’s Eve
Halloween, also known as All Hallows’ Eve, is celebrated on October 31st and has roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. It marked the transition from harvest to winter, a time when the boundary between the living and the dead was believed to be thin. Over time, it blended with Christian traditions honoring saints and the departed, evolving into a holiday filled with costumes, symbolism, and themes of mystery, death, and the supernatural.
Process & Pitch
Through this collection, I wanted to create a set of Halloween tableware geared towards adults, as I noticed that there is a large market for adults who celebrate Halloween, but not enough tableware geared toward them. My collection re-imagines Halloween through a darker, more sophisticated lens, blending gothic elegance with symbolic storytelling.
